The old Gmail workaround is going away

Gmail on the web cannot add Outlook

Google’s help pages say you cannot add an Outlook account to Gmail on a computer. Your Outlook mail has to live somewhere else.

The workaround has a deadline

Google says Gmail’s web support for reading other accounts and for Send as from third party addresses ends in January 2027. Even where an old setup still works, it is on borrowed time.

Can I add Outlook to Gmail on the web?
